About me
Hossein Assar
I'm Hossein Assar. I'm currently studying for my bachelor's degree in computer science, and on the side, I design and build websites for people who need one.
I got started by taking some web design and development courses, and then a first client took a chance on me. That project taught me more than any course did, and it's why I still take on a small number of projects now: real work, for real clients, done properly.
I handle both the design and the development myself. I design the interface in Figma first, then write the code, so there's no gap between what you approved and what you actually receive, and no time lost handing work between a designer and a developer.
Why the price is what it is
I'm a student building a portfolio, not running an agency. Right now, what I need is a small number of projects done properly enough to show the next client. That matters more to me than margin, so early clients get a fair, fixed price and the same care I'd put into any paid work.
How I work
Every project starts with a conversation about your business and your audience, not a template. You see and approve the design before a line of code is written. You get a live preview link the whole way through development, so nothing shows up as a surprise. Once it's live, I stay reachable for fixes and changes.
What I actually build with
Next.js, React and TypeScript on the frontend. Node.js, PostgreSQL and Supabase on the backend. Deployed on Vercel. I also use the Claude API for workflow automation when a project calls for it. The tools matter less than the outcome: a site you own outright, that still works for you a year from now.
